Damage from Cyclone Harry

Today, January 21, 2026 , will remain etched in the memory of the citizens of Soverato as the day of one of the most powerful storm surges of the last century. Cyclone Harry , with its predicted fury, did not spare our coast, transforming the seafront into a veritable emergency scene.

A dramatic day

Since the early hours of the morning, the force of the sea (classified as force 7 ) began to manifest itself with waves that exceeded 5-6 meters in height . The force of the water broke down the containment barriers in several places, invading roads and sidewalks and completely submerging several beach facilities which, like ours, suffered extensive damage.

Together with other state property operators, we will work together to overcome this difficult time, hoping to quickly overcome the critical issues caused by the bad weather.
